Meaning of 十八罗汉

十八罗汉 means the Eighteen Arhats (in Buddhism); the collective name for sixteen disciples and two additional arhats (dragon-subduing and tiger-taming) who are said to reside permanently in the world by order of the Buddha. Pronounced shí bā luó hàn.
